What is SKI for MS?
An on-mountain, winter event series featuring activities for skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities, including an amateur race, awards ceremony and amazing après party! SKI for MS is hosted by ski resorts across the country to raise money for Can Do MS health and wellness education programs. You may participate as a fundraiser or non-fundraiser! There are prizes awarded for all fundraisers. If you can’t get to one of the host mountains, you may still participate as a virtual fundraiser and win great prizes!
What kind of on-snow activities are there?
TONS! Each mountain has their own combination of fun! From parties to group ski downs and dual slalom races, there is something for everyone! Visit the SKI for MS homepage and click on the mountain icon to see the event schedule!
What if a friend is participating and I just want to come to the after party?
Definitely! We welcome all people interested in our event. There is an after-party donation for non-participants. Visit the SKI for MS homepage and click on the mountain to make your donation and reserve your spot!
Am I required to fundraise to participate?
No, each mountain has a non-fundraising option for $25. But, fundraisers do have the chance to win some pretty cool prizes!
To be a fundraising participant, how much do I need to raise?
It’s $25 to register and to participate in daytime activities (ski lift ticket not included). There are many different prizes to win starting at $100 fundraising level. Check out all of our incentives here: http://www.corporatecasuals.com.
Does the $25 registration fee include a lift ticket?
No. You will need to purchase a lift ticket if you would like to participate in on-mountain activities. Keep in mind you do not need a lift ticket to participate. For your $25 registration fee, you can join us at the après party!
Can I have a team?
YES! We love team spirit! Each person fundraises as an individual, however, you can also join or create a team when you register. There is no limit to the number of team members you can have! Recruit your friends or co-workers of any age or ability. Dressing up and costumes are always encouraged!
How old do I have to be to participate?
All ages are welcome! Start a team and bring out the family for a great day of fun! Note: Anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign the liability waiver.
How do I register online?
Registration is easy and setting up your fundraising page is even easier with Classy.com (Can Do MS fundraising platform)! You can log in using your Facebook page, or an email address. Click here to be directed to the SKI for MS homepage. From there, choose the mountain you want to participate at and follow the prompts to get started!
Do I have to be a good skier or boarder to participate in the race?
NOPE! This is about FUNdraising, camaraderie, and enjoying the day with friends, old and new. On-snow performance is rewarded with prizes, but so is fundraising, so don’t let your snowplow keep you from joining in the fun! All on-mountain activities are optional!
Where does the money go?
